Emily & Morgan at Pentre Mawr

Following three Covid lockdowns with no weddings, Emily & Morgan were finally married at Pentre Mawr, Denbigh. During the lockdowns, Bre and Graham have developed the amazing outdoor Garden Terrace which is perfect for the lovely weather we have been enjoying. The garden terrace is overlooking the Clwydian range providing the prefect backdrop for any couple. With Covid restrictions still in place it is also a safe way for friends and family to witness a wedding.

I first met Emily and Morgan at a wedding fayre back in 2018 and we hit it off straight away. They were originally planning on marrying in August 2020 but Covid had different plans, so it was rearranged for June 2021.

We met up in May for their getting to know you shoot at Barkby Beach and they were both very natural in front of the camera making my job easy and fun.

The big day arrived and to be fair it was a very chilled and relaxed morning of bridal prep. By the time we arrived, the hairdressers, Glam Artisan, Bangor were almost finished and the make-up artist, Matte Hair and Makeup, Holyhead was working his magic on the bridesmaids. The weather was glorious, and the ceremony was perfect.

During our photos the rain started, only light but we persevered and got some amazing shots. To be fair it’s hard to take a bad image of these two! Emily wore a stunning gown from Cameo Brides, Llandudno and had amazingly bright, beautiful flowers from Acacia Flowers, Valley.

All in all, it was a chilled fun day with plenty of giggles and hiding under the trees whilst the rain stopped. It was so nice to be back at Pentre Mawr to see the changes and shoot in the new area. I cannot wait to be back there.
