I am passionate about my brand and go the extra mile to get to know my couples so I am able to help guide them through their day with correct amount of input.
Your Wedding Photography is one of the most important aspects of your big day and you will be spending a great deal of time with your chosen photographer, so my job (apart from capturing all of your most magical moments throughout your day) is to actually keep you calm, relaxed, happy and at ease, whilst providing a few giggles along the way.
Even after many years of photographing weddings I am always experimenting with new techniques etc. which keeps ‘my’ style of photography fun and fresh!

So, why call your business Blue Bug? I have had Blue Bug so long that the name does not even cross my mind now, but when I started the business, I could not think of what to call myself. I know I did not want to use my name as so many others, and as two of us started up together, it just would not work. So, after much discussion we settled on Love Bug as I had a little blue Beetle car with a BUG numberplate. We quickly realised that we couldn’t get a good website by that name so decided on Blue Bug! It is a simple as that. It also meant I needed to keep buying beetle cars! Granted, it’s an unusual name but it stuck in people’s minds and is rather memorable being so odd.
In the early days of Blue Bug I had a studio and concentrated on families, babies, boudoir and maternity shoots. Blue Bug stood out as we had great fun and stayed clear of boring shoots. I shot my first wedding in 2009 for a friend and instantly fell in love with weddings. My first paid wedding came the following year and each year I have become busier and busier to the point where I had to leave my studio to concentrate on weddings along almost six years ago.
